The current boiler was installed around 4 years ago – but considering the house is a 6 bedroom mansion with around 20 radiators and a large underfloor heating system, the boiler had a pressure vessel only suitable for a 3 bedroom house.
The existing system had no pump overrun fitted, so the boiler was overheating and banging when the pump stopped running.
We drained the system and fitted 2x 24l vessels, and wired in the pump overrun to the boiler.
