Removed 35-year-old boiler and cylinder which was half-filled with scale.
Fitted a Vaillant ecoTEC 620 system boiler, Honeywell zone valve, bypass valve and magnetic filter. Boiler comes with 10 years’ manufacturer’s warranty.
Fitted a new base for Gledhill cylinder to be fitted onto. Reconfigured pipework. New isolation valve. Ran new services to the pump from cold water storage tank in loft due to the existing bathroom fitter fitting the pump to the mains.
All new radiators installed with TRVs.
